Our YMCA Youth Sports programs encourage and promote healthy kids, families, and communities. Priority is placed on family involvement, healthy competition versus rivalry, team building & the value of participation over winning. Here at the Y, our Sports Philosophy is 'Athletes First, Winning Second.' We aim to keep kids moving and focus on their health and well-being.
The YMCA offers sports all-year-round, across our association, for youth ages 3 - 18. We offer a variety of sports programs including basketball, cheerleading, soccer, swim team, and taekwondo.
We offer both competitive and recreational youth sports programs.

CHEERLEADING
Our Cheerleading program offers girls ages 4-18 the chance to learn the importance of teamwork while learning new skills & cheering on our YMCA Youth Sports teams. Cheerleading helps build strong self-esteem and self-confidence while developing social skills and healthy relationships with other girls.

Flag Football
Kickstart your child’s flag football journey with the YMCA’s Coed Youth Flag Football Team — proudly sponsored by the NFL!
This program is perfect for players of all skill levels, whether they’re just starting out or looking to sharpen their game. In addition to flag football, we’re also offering Youth Cheerleading — a great opportunity for young cheerleaders to show their spirit and cheer on our teams from the sidelines!
